Bella Cares, LLC was founded on a simple conviction: better dementia care begins with better understanding. Too often, caregivers are asked to support people living with dementia without the education, language, or confidence they need. Bella Cares closes that gap with practical education that respects the difficulty of the work and the dignity of the person receiving care.
Gayon Buchanan brings more than a decade of experience in geriatric leadership and memory care. She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and has worked across the daily realities of senior living — from direct interactions with residents and families to operational leadership and staff development.
Gayon designs and facilitates dementia education for direct-care teams, interdisciplinary staff, clinical professionals, leadership groups, and family caregivers. Her sessions translate dementia-care principles into strategies people can use in the next shift, the next conversation, the next difficult moment.
Gayon is an Alzheimer's Association advocate and a support group facilitator, walking alongside families as they navigate diagnosis, change, and caregiving over time.
As a regional and national presenter, Gayon speaks at professional industry conferences, leadership meetings, senior living events, caregiver conferences, and community gatherings — bringing a warm, practical, real-world voice to the podium.
Gayon is the author of resources written for the people doing the work of care, including Grace for the Caregiver's Heart: Scriptures and Affirmations for Every Stage of Dementia Care and Beyond the Diagnosis.
